The London Ops Account Engineering team has an opening for an Account Engineering Assistant based full time at the Maidenhead Office. Reporting to the Group Manager of Account Engineering, this is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the team working with account engineers on a wide variety of our client accounts. The AEA role not only supports internal processes but also has the opportunity to interact directly with client contacts to ensure that our overall engineering offering runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
1. Request, maintain and follow up as necessary on engineering servicing for London Operations Accounts and Connected Business accounts requiring risk evaluation/assessment to ensure timely delivery of products and services to new and existing clients.
2. Support Account Engineers and account engineering efforts to achieve meaningful risk improvement.
3. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of engineering documentation to our clients.
4. Generate and compile information for Account Engineering use during presentations and meetings.
5. Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and/or direct to appropriate personnel.
6. Liaise with internal departments such as Work Assignment, Field Engineering, and Client Services teams.
7. Perform ad hoc administration tasks as requested.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience supporting a work group and/or manager, preferably in an insurance or related work environment.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to get along with various levels of the engineering teams as well as with clients and brokers.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
5. Outstanding technical skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive. A knowledge of Power BI would also be an advantage.
6. Customer-oriented, a team player, as well as the ability to adapt and understand cultural differences.
7. Be flexible and receptive to change.
8. Knowledge of existing internal systems (RiskConsole, Global Portal, Infoport, SRS, BTP) would also be an advantage although training would be given.
