Account Executive – Commercial Insurance (Evesham)
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Account Executive to join our commercial team in our Evesham office. At Hazelton Mountford, our staff are at the core of our success, and we are looking for a candidate with extensive commercial insurance experience who shares our values of personal service, expertise, and integrity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch Director and other established Account Executives in managing a portfolio of commercial clients while providing exceptional personal service.

The candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, while providing excellent personal service and identifying new business opportunities. A strong background in commercial insurance broking and a passion for building strong relationships with clients and insurers are essential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Managing an established portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional personal service.
* Understanding clients’ business operations to identify their insurance needs and offer tailored solutions.
* Preparing and presenting new business and renewal proposals.
* Seeking new business opportunities including prospecting, networking, referrals.
* Meeting individual sales and income growth targets.
* Building strong relationships with clients and insurers.
* Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the best coverage and competitive quotes.
* Staying up to date on industry trends, regulations, and products to offer informed advice.
Key Skills / Experience
* Previous experience working within commercial insurance broking.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and insurers.
* A passion in further developing a career in commercial insurance broking.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and problem-solving.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
* A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further education or insurance-related qualifications are a plus but not essential.
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams.
* Use of Acturis insurance software preferred but not essential.
* A full UK driving licence and own transport essential.
