Job Description : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child requiring additional support. The role will involve providing personalized assistance within the classroom, ensuring the student’s individual learning needs are met, and helping them achieve their academic potential. Key Responsibilities : Provide 1:1 support to a student who requires Additional Learning Support. Assist with lesson delivery, ensuring learning objectives are met. Create a positive and supportive environment for the student to thrive. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher. Support the student in developing social, emotional, and academic skills. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective strategies. Essential Qualifications & Skills : Experience working with children, preferably in a 1:1 setting. Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to make a difference in a child’s education. Good understanding of child development and behaviour management techniques. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt and respond to individual learning needs. Desirable Qualifications : Experience working with children with specific learning needs or disabilities. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualification).
