About The Role
As a CSA Disability Support Worker, you will be engaged across multiple settings, including:
* Home-Based Care
* Disability Support
* Community Access
* Integrated Family Services
* Transport
* Respite Support
Key Duties
* Support the needs of individuals with complex medical needs that require high physical support.
* Encourage the customer's options for choice and control and empower them at all times.
* Implement and support behavioural plans and record keeping.
* Undertake or assist with daily household tasks, e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.
* Provide opportunities to develop skills.
* Accompany customers on outings and day-to-day activities such as shopping, appointments, and social outings.

Exceptional customer service is always vital. While you are there to support customers' lives and lead the independent lives they want, your workplace is their home, and you must always treat them with respect, integrity, and empathy.
Successful Candidates Will Have The Following:
* A minimum Cert IV in a related qualification, Cert IV in Disability, Mental Health, Nursing
* Availability on an on-call basis between 6 am and 8 pm during the weekdays
* Available 3 days a week
* The ability to work regular business hours, afternoons, weekends, overnight stays, and public holidays
* Current Victorian Drivers Licence (P2)
* National Police Check and Right to Work check (CSA-specific resource provided)
* Current Accredited First Aid + CPR [HLTAID011 and HLTAID009]
* Passport, Australian Birth Certificate and/or Australian Citizenship (proof of ID)
* Current Working with Children Check (Employment)
* Reliable and roadworthy vehicle
* NDIS worker screening clearance
