Role:
We can help you to become healthier, experience local green spaces and inform you about your local environment. Practical tasks include scrub bashing, tree planting, meadow management, pond restoration, restoring station buildings and identifying wildlife. You do not need to be physically fit as we have a range of tasks available, although there will be some short distance walking on uneven ground.
Work sites are usually within a 10 mile radius of North Walsham. From 1st June 2022 lifts to and from the sites are available Midland Road carpark, North Walsham at 12.40pm in volunteers’ cars.
Time commitment:
Activities take place on a Wednesday afternoon, starting at 1pm on site and finishing at approximately 3.45pm on site.
About the organisation:
The North East Norfolk Conservation Volunteers (NENCV) evolved from a funded project by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) to form an independent volunteer run and managed group.
