We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Partner Solutions Manager to join our APJ Partner Programs team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing and scaling partner-driven solutions.
In this strategic role, you will collaborate with AWS Partner and Sales teams to engage partners and customers in solving complex business challenges through jointly developed solutions. You'll implement scalable, programmatic approaches while serving as a subject matter expert on both core and emerging AWS capabilities. Your focus will be on developing deep relationships with select technology and consulting partners, guiding them through AWS programs, and creating a clear pathway for building impactful joint solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a robust technology and industry solutions background, complemented by exceptional business development skills that enable executive-level engagement both internally and externally. You must demonstrate strategic thinking in balancing customer, partner, and product considerations while maintaining a strong delivery focus. We're looking for a self-motivated, customer-obsessed professional who can navigate complex situations, drive results, and build lasting business relationships. This highly visible position requires strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the skill to craft and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive partner innovation and create scalable solutions that address real business challenges across the APJ region.
Key job responsibilities
1. Drive solution ideation and development with strategic partners, working backwards from customer needs
2. Collaborate with solution builders, architects, and service teams to create industry-aligned solutions
3. Lead technical and business discussions with partner executives to drive solution development
4. Create and execute go-to-market strategies for partner solutions
5. Manage a portfolio of partner solutions from ideation through deployment
6. Work cross-functionally with BD, sales, and technical teams to create effective co-selling motions
7. Drive organizational strategy and solution-level design thinking
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across AWS and partner organizations
A day in the life
You will work with partners and customers to understand their needs and desires in solving their top business challenges. You will identify high-value solution opportunities, lead solution development initiatives, and drive go-to-market execution. This involves regular engagement with technical and business stakeholders, leading solution design workshops, executing match-making events, leveraging available partner programs, and ensuring successful delivery of partner solutions that meet AWS's high bar for customer value. This role requires approximately 15-20% travel within the APJ region to meet with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
