Vehicle Inspector Vehicle Damage Assesor Job Title: Vehicle Inspector Salary: £25-28k depending on experience Term: Full Time, Monday to Friday As a Vehicle Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of my client's vehicles that are either to be redeployed or sold You must be aware that having a good eye for detail whilst being meticulous as the vehicle inspector provides peace of mind and confidence to their customers. This position is based on site and not a hybrid role This role will incorporate the handover of new vehicles running through controls and signing out the vehicles ensuring my client monitors condition and responsibility constantly Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any damage, mechanical or safety issues Ensure all new vehicles that are collected in person have an adequate handover and that they are licenced for the vehicle being collected Check and specialise equipment is intact and present where needed Document and maintain accurate inspection records using the company supplied systems and procedures ensuring all findings are properly recorded Collaborate with the team to determine necessary repairs Maintain a clean and organised workspace ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained Communicate inspection findings to the team in a clear and friendly manner, answering any questions they may have Ensure key movements are recorded correctly to save the site losing keys Keep up to date with all emails messages and phone calls Experience required for the Vehicle Inspector role: A meticulous eye for detail Efficient at managing paperwork A background in mechanics/motor trade would be idea Good organisational skills Able to maintain detailed and accurate inspection records Clean, full driving licence is essential A background in inventory would be beneficial Salary for the Vehicle Inspector role: Pay: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experienceTerm: Full time, Monday to Friday
