We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a production manager to join a well-established manufacturing company in the Oldbury area. As a production manager you will oversee and manage all aspects of production scheduling. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments within the company to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products to customers. Role Responsibilities: You will develop and manage production schedules to meet customer needs. You will plan and coordinate material requirements to ensure timely availability for production. You will oversee fabrication and welding activities ensuring all products meet quality standards and project timelines. You will need to guide other heads of department regarding production and schedules. You will need to be able to enforce corrective actions within production processes. You will need to maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels and materials usage. Qualifications and Experience: 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on production planning and control. Previous experience in a role such as shop floor manager or production manager. Proven experience in fabrication and welding processes. Proven experience in material planning. Strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising and guiding production teams. Experience using production planning software. Strong problem solving skills, you must be able to identify and address production challenges. Good understanding of heath and safety regulations within manufacturing settings.
