The school are looking for an experienced and passionate HLTA to join their team and support their wonderful pupils. The school are looking for someone to start after Easter.
The Role:
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across a range of subjects, focusing on providing tailored support for individual students and small groups. You will assist in planning and delivering lessons, helping to create an engaging classroom environment, and ensuring that all students make progress in line with their potential. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and working closely with children to help them succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support class teachers in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students are engaged and making progress
* Provide targeted support for individual students and small groups, both in and out of the classroom
* Assist with classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Help support the pastoral and emotional needs of students
* Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and monitoring student work
* Support children with additional needs, providing specific interventions when required
* Maintain strong communication with parents, teachers, and other staff members
