Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday (Friday finish at 1:30pm)
Contract: Permanent - Full time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Supervisor, you'll be working within the Production team, supporting them in building signs to meet customer requirements and taking the lead in the production of work assigned daily by the Production Manager, guaranteeing the manufacturing of these orders within the agreed timeframe.
Your day to day will include:
Building a variety of signs to customer requirements using drawings & other documents, ensuring cut vinyl and plates are being made to customer specification
Supervising employees in fulfilling orders correctly
Supporting employees with disabilities by developing and progressing their skills and abilities
Assisting the Production Manager in stock control & assigning work in their absence
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck (training provided), checking compliance with standard legal and Kier requirements in relation to management of the premises / depot
What are we looking for?
This role of Supervisor is great for you if:
You hold previous supervisory or line management experience with knowledge of production technical standards and relevant legislation
Understand the importance of health and safety regulations
Have the ability to empathise with colleagues that have varied disabilities and assist in maintaining workflow by allocating work effectively
Drive and hold a current driving licence
