Summary
An associate is responsible for the delivery of recruitment solutions on mandates within a portfolio in line with client expectations, primarily developing a qualified and motivated candidate shortlist while building an understanding of the talent pool from which that shortlist is drawn.
In conjunction with a Director, the associate will present, manage and close the successful candidates
An associate will continually build and develop their knowledge of and contacts within the specific sector of the cleantech sector in which they are focused to further the portfolios goals around leads, content and business development.
Responsibilities
Clients
• Build and develop long term relationships with existing clients
• Develop a good understanding of our client companies, what they do and their work culture and environment
• Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
• Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description in the company CRM
• Organise interviews as requested by client
• Provide advice on pay rates and career progression
• Network internally and externally with clients
• Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
Candidates
• Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance
• Complete a search of the CRM, Hyperion network, LinkedIn and other relevant sources (including referrals) to build a shortlist of motivated and qualified candidates.
• Pre-screen candidates for suitability and conduct interviews
• Review CVs / market placeable candidates, search / shortlist CVs in line with the mandates you are handling and ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests
• Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications
• In partnership with your Director, negotiate pay and salary rates and finalise arrangements between client and candidates
Collaboration
• Share market intelligence internally to support the collaboration of our global business
• Play a proactive role in ensuring a supportive team environment is maintained
• Understand and work towards the relevant Accelerators and bonuses
• Capture information, calls, correspondence, interviews and associated documentation on our CRM
• Support global research projects, marketing / content and quarterly market review production activity
• Ensure records are kept in line with legislative requirements
