Aubay is seeking an experienced Product Owner to enhance customer application journeys and drive business value through digitisation, customer insight, and market intelligence. Focused on optimising the application journey experience, this role plays a critical part in delivering functionality that:Increases digitisation and reduces customer and colleague effort.Boosts customer conversion rates and drives revenue growth.Improves customer satisfaction through a higher Net Promoter Score (NPS).This role has the potential to impact millions of customers annually while supporting business growth and innovation.This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite in Solihull three days a week; this is a non-negotiable requirement.This role is a 6-month initial fixed-term position with the potential for extension.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven success in delivering digital products as a Product Owner, including leading agile squads.
* Strong focus on customer needs and delivering superior application experiences.
* Knowledge of digital customer experience (CX) design and user journey mapping.
* Ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
* Proficient in Agile practices, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
* Ability to address complex challenges with innovative solutions.
* Skilled in capturing and documenting customer journeys, requirements, and use cases.
* Familiarity with digital platforms, IT systems, and their integration within customer applications.
Desirable Skills
* Experience within the Financial Services or regulated industries.
* A solid understanding of UX best practices and digital transformation strategies.
* Background in partner-led business models and cross-functional team collaboration.
* Education to degree level is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Provide the squad with a clear product vision, anticipating customer needs and market trends to align goals with organisational objectives.
* Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising features and stories using value-based methodologies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align short-term sprint priorities with long-term strategies, ensuring successful delivery.
* Create actionable user stories, ensuring efficient and customer-focused delivery by the squad.
* Validate product features against customer needs and business metrics, testing them prior to release.
* Design and optimise customer application journeys, aligning them with digital customer experience (CX) best practices.
* Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies, including demos, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
* Engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders, balancing technical and business priorities effectively.
* Address complex challenges with innovative solutions and decisive decision-making.
* Demonstrate passion for improving customer journeys, delivering tangible business impact through collaborative teamwork.
