You'll be based out of our new Edinburgh studio in the heart of the city overlooking the historic castle. We have in-studio and hybrid options available for a deeply talented Graphics Programmer to help implement and maintain pipelines. You will ensure that the code is optimized to the highest level, supporting and developing the exciting visuals for our games.
Requirements
1. Taking responsibility for graphics development on the project.
2. Developing, documenting, testing, and maintaining graphical and engine features in collaboration with the other members of the team.
3. Dedicatedly and methodically improving the quality and efficiency of the relevant tools, processes, and runtime functionality.
4. Troubleshooting all graphics-related issues.
5. Researching and applying relevant new technologies.
Skills:
1. A real passion for graphics development.
2. Strong C++ skills with exposure to a wide range of graphical techniques and effects.
3. Current generation console experience preferred; experience with any modern graphics API is also of interest.
4. Experience with Unreal 4/5.
5. Vulkan programming experience is a bonus.
6. Deep understanding of high-level shader languages.
7. Proficiency in maths/3D geometry.
8. First-class management, communication, and scheduling skills.
