Lead Developer - Hybrid Role (2 days a week on site) - Manchester
The Lead Developer will be responsible for guiding the development team and collaborating with various stakeholders to manage the workload and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation.
2. Driving Agile and DevOps methodologies.
3. Making strategic decisions on tools, technology, and processes.
4. Ensuring adherence to InfoSec standards.
5. Overseeing quality management processes and driving continuous improvement and automation.
6. Supporting the Applications Support team with testing and deployment.
7. Assisting in resolving production support issues.
8. Integrating new functionalities into the business environment.
9. Producing detailed system designs and specifications.
10. Maintaining development standards and participating in estimating and planning.
11. Collaborating with architects on system solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have experience transitioning to a DevOps culture, implementing continuous integration and delivery practices, and driving automation for improved velocity, quality, scalability, and security. Leadership, management, and coaching experience are also essential for this role.
