Place of work: Hertfordshire HQ (Some flexibility regarding number of days in office is available) We are seeking a highly capable, organised and proactive Creative Resource Manager to oversee the allocation of resources, manage cost alignment with project and pitch budgets, streamline workflows, and ensure the smooth operation of our creative function. This role is vital to maintaining the efficiency and quality of our creative output, fostering collaboration, and optimising the capacity of our team. As Creative Resource Manager, you will work closely with our live production and leadership teams to ensure efficient workflow across our creative team, plan and maintain resource alignment, and meet project deadlines. You will focus on operational efficiency, accuracy of delivery, scheduling, and communication while leveraging team skills across disciplines. You will act as the central hub for creative resource planning, ensuring the right people are working on the right projects at the right time. This role involves identifying resource needs across multiple projects, setting and monitoring project milestones, collaborating with other departments and reporting on timelines, resources, and costs, and managing the workflow of several creative disciplines. You will also work with the Marketing & Business Development Director to facilitate the creation of marketing and business development assets and support pitches and proposals as requested by the Creative Director and Pitch Leads. Key responsibilities include scheduling the department's workload, managing and procuring freelancers and suppliers while ensuring that resourcing scenarios are monitored to track resource utilisation and the strategic forecasting of future needs based on project critical paths and the business pipeline. You’ll also support the Creative Director in team HR-related tasks like holiday approvals, training, and department-level concerns. Flexibility and proactive problem-solving are essential in this dynamic, fast-paced environment, where deadlines are fixed, but project scope often evolves. Key Duties: - Maintain resource software and manage the project planner to track workloads and deadlines. - Provide weekly project status updates to Production, Scenic, and Design teams. - Attend interdepartmental meetings to communicate Creative Studio requirements. - Manage freelancer bookings, expand the network, and ensure competitive costs. - Create purchase orders for suppliers, including print and freelance services. - Assign team members and design leads to projects based on skills and availability. - Generate time reports and job quotes for completed projects. - Coordinate with departments to ensure all necessary information is available to meet deadlines. - Manage holiday requests to ensure project resource availability. - Support team development and training needs as required. - Escalate concerns and provide constant feedback to the Creative Director. - Perform additional administrative departmental tasks as required. - No direct reports currently. Experience & Qualifications: - Proven experience in resource management, project management, or a related role. - Strong understanding of creative workflows and team dynamics. - Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in resource planning tools. (e.g., Float) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Experience in Adobe CC applications preferable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Experience of working in an Advertising/Marketing/Event Agency, Design Studio, Video production company, Postproduction studio or similar creative environment is essential. - Design and Print experience preferable. - Full UK driving licence, own transport and current passport required due to location and the nature of our business.
