The successful candidates must have experience of working with children and young people in youth work settings, assist in the direct engagement and delivery of services for children and young people across the borough and help shape, develop and improve local services to make them more young person friendly. The ability to be flexible in approach to dealing with difficult situations, working with sensitive and confidential information and working well under pressure is essential. As an engagement worker you will need to be flexible with your working hours to meet the demands of the service users and able to work evenings.
