Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth running of our restaurant and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
2. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
3. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
4. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
5. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
6. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
7. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment as a Cook or similar role is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
6. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Pay: £11.62-£12.32 per hour
