Credit Control, Accounts, and Payroll Assistant Full-time: 40 hours per week Expected to address Payroll duties 4 days per month. Remaining time split 50/50 on Credit Control and Accounts duties. Salary: £32,000 Basic: £ 30,000 Bonus (OTE): £2,000 If you are someone who wants to build knowledge around all aspect of accounts, including payroll - this role might be the right fit for you. Working for a growing business that offers good progression and development opportunities within the Finance team, you will have the following responsibilities: Credit Control (using SAP system) To chase overdue debts by telephone, email with follow up letters as required. Providing information for the Bad Debt Provision. Assign the appropriate credit check limit for new customers using on-line information from RiskDisk. Responsible for cash allocations daily including Bacs, Cheques. Responding to customer queries regarding missing invoices. Account Assistant (using SAP system) Posting bank payments. Bank account reconciliations. Posting invoices and dealing with queries. Posting and reconciliation of credit cards payments & Refunds. Running payments for invoices. Dealing with employees expenses. Assisting on general accounting duties in busy periods or when another staff are off. Other ad-hoc financial duties/analysis as required. Payroll (Using Sage Payroll) Processing payroll for 80 employees on fortnight pay. To perform in this role, you will need: Previous SAP/Sage knowledge is advantage but not essential At least 1-2 year of general accounting experience is preferred. Accounting knowledge is essential. Excellent communication skills and team player. Able to create a positive impression at all levels, with a polite but tenacious telephone manner. Ability to work on own initiative. Good reconciliation skills with excellent planning and organisational skills. Computer literate and able to work with Excel. Ability to learn and adapt quickly with minimal supervision.
