Hybrid Model: 3 days in the office near Edinburgh, 2 days WFH per week - Very commutable from the city centre, West Lothian, Fife, and surrounding regions - Parking on site and very close to train station serviced from both Haymarket and Waverley.
Lorien's client, an established Scottish-born success story with an award-winning, sector-leading product line, is seeking a Cloud Support/Infrastructure Engineer. This role is suited for someone with experience in the Support/Infrastructure domain who has progressed into Azure support/admin, with skills across Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), and M365.

What you'll get up to:
1. Helping to take the reins across Azure-based technical solution delivery, managing hybrid cloud setups, migrations, and other areas of cloud system support/admin/monitoring.
2. Operating as a key go-to Cloud SME and contributing to planning/improvements and relevant projects.
3. Being part of a cross-functional R&D style team, collaborating with other Cloud specialists, DevOps personnel, Engineering Managers, and more.
4. Bringing new ideas to the table and helping to enhance existing offerings.
5. Offering 3rd Line Support around Cloud-related issues and barriers.
What you'll bring to the table:
1. Strong knowledge and skills in Azure (Backup, Storage, Virtual Networks, VMs, ExpressRoute, etc.), ARM Templates, IaC, and Automation.
2. Previous experience in roles such as Cloud Engineer or similar, ideally having progressed from a Support/Infrastructure background.
3. Skills and knowledge in Microsoft 365, preferably E5, Intune, PowerShell, Entra ID, and familiarity with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS practices, along with basic scripting for automation.
4. Ability to contribute new ideas and support upgrades/improvements.
5. Awareness of current trends in the domain and willingness to integrate these into practice.
