We are looking to recruit a Band 4 UEC Flow Coordinator to work within our Emergency Department (ED). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team that is developing their service and we hope your passionate contribution to the team will support us to expand and improve further.
You will support the Clinical and admin teams in the delivery of Service targets and meeting our key performance indicators. Pro-actively tracking patients, alerting team members where diagnostic results are reported and reducing unnecessary delays.

As an Urgent and Emergency Care Flow Coordinator you will provide essential support service to the efficient running of the Emergency Department.
Assist in the management and movement and flow of patients in ED to maintain patient safety, enhance performance of the ED 4-hour target and patient experience.
To provide a link between the nurse in charge, the consultant, assessment areas and the operations Centre ensuring plans are in place for patients, alerting colleagues if there are difficulties elsewhere in the trust and facilitating movement of other patients to ensure assessment space is available.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to work on your own initiative.
Excellent communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work under pressure is a key part of the role.
