What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a senior teaching assistant to join our team committed to improving the outcomes for pupils by providing high quality support to our learning environment. It is expected the successful candidate will be keen to embrace new challenges in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
We provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for pupils who are taught in single-age classes by a skilled and enthusiastic teaching team.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and dedicated practitioner who will attend to pupils’ individual needs and, under the direction of the teacher, deliver structured learning activity programmes in addition to providing support in the classroom in the absence of the teacher. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual pupils and to have excellent interpersonal skills.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
• relevant qualifications and successful experience of delivering pupil learning activities
• a good working knowledge of the national/foundation stage curriculum
• passion and enthusiasm for working with children to secure good progress for all pupils.
