* Translate complex STEM concepts into user-friendly, age-appropriate language for learners, educators, and parents.
* Conduct content audits and contribute to content style guides, tone guidelines, and taxonomy systems.
* Apply inclusive design and accessibility principles to all written materials.
* Provide domain expertise to help inform product decisions around curriculum, assessment, and learner pathways.
* Review and revise educational content (questions, lessons, simulations) for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical soundness.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field, Education (with a STEM focus), Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
* 5–10+ years of experience as a teacher, professor, or educator in K–12 or higher education, with a clear focus on STEM subjects.
* Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and accessible content for digital platforms.
* Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with curriculum standards (e.g., NGSS, Common Core, AP, IB, etc.)
* Experience working with designers and engineers in agile environments.
* Passion for helping learners succeed, particularly in STEM disciplines.
* Comfort navigating ambiguity and working autonomously.
Nice to Have:
* Experience as a retired educator or professor bringing real-world classroom insights into digital design.
* Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) and writing tools (e.g., Google Docs, CMS platforms).
* Understanding of localization, accessibility (a11y), and inclusive content practices.
Why You'll Love This Role:
* Shape the future of digital learning experiences from a real educator’s perspective.
* Work with a collaborative, mission-driven team that values clarity, empathy, and curiosity.
* Empower learners and educators at scale with tools that are informed by real-world classroom experience.
