HR Business Partner | Hybrid North Kent | £38k - £45k We are seeking a proactive and tenacious HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join a successful Kent based multi-site business. In this role, you will support the business units and managers, delivering a wide range of HR services, from employee relations and performance management to talent development and organisational support initiatives. As a key member of the HR team, you will work closely with department leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives, creating a positive employee experience and support the business in fostering a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations : Act as a trusted advisor for employee concerns, providing coaching, support, and conflict resolution; conduct investigations as needed. Relationship Building : Working closely with staff across the business to develop strong relationships and a culture of trust. Business partnering senior managers across multiple sites. Talent Development : Collaborate with leaders to identify skill gaps and develop training and development programs to promote employee growth and retention. Change Management : Support change initiatives by communicating effectively, ensuring smooth transitions, and promoting a culture of adaptability. Workforce Planning : Assist in talent planning and succession planning initiatives to meet future business needs. Employee Engagement : Drive engagement programs and initiatives to boost morale, foster a positive work environment, and improve team cohesion. Policy and Compliance : Ensure HR practices are in compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulations; act as a resource for managers on HR policy interpretation. Diversity and Inclusion : Contribute to the companys DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace. HR Metrics and Reporting : Monitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and practices; provide data-driven insights to management. Candidate Profile: 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align HR strategies with business goals. High degree of empathy, confidentiality, and integrity. Proficiency with HR software and systems; familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and data reporting. CIPD level 3 / 5 or studying towards CIPD Experience supporting multiple departments or business units in a busy environment. Exposure to talent management, ER casework, and organisational development programs.
