Role: Speciality Doctor in Haematology - agency locum or 12 month fixed term contracts
Pay Rates:
Fixed Term: £59,175 to £95,400 per annum + employee benefits such as access to the NHS pension scheme
Agency Locum: £51 per hour. PAYE / inside IR35 only
Shifts: Full or part time considered. Full job description available on request. 1 x Malignant Haematology and 1 x General Haematology. Bone marrow sessions can be included if desired.

Essential:
Full GMC licence to practice
SD-level experience in Haematology, or references to support stepping up to SD
You will need to pass an enhanced background check (DBS)

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
As a Haematology Doctor with this trust you will:
1. Provide diagnosis, screening, treatment, preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of patient care.
2. Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information to explain a diagnosis and treatment options using various methods to ensure practical understanding.
3. Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment.
4. Provide constant monitoring and care for patients.
5. Communicate with patients and the wider multidisciplinary team on shared patient decision making.
6. Work in and where appropriate, lead a multidisciplinary team.
7. Assess and prioritise patient/client requirements, delegating effectively to others.
8. Recognise, review, and report a patient's condition and any changes to the patient and the multidisciplinary team.
9. Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks, such as keeping records of test results, writing prescriptions, providing information to patients, and monitoring treatment plans.
10. Conduct research to help develop and test techniques and equipment that can improve procedures and outcomes.
11. Help teach and train other junior doctors and medical students and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
