This is an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Service Engineer to join the team at Nationwide Platforms.
As a Mobile Service Engineer, you'll visit a variety of customer sites within the Scotland Region, including Dundee and surrounding areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our powered access machines to a high standard.
Responsibilities include:
1. Fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of a range of powered access equipment within the depot and on customer sites.
2. Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products.
3. Completing all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures.
4. Carrying out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary.
5. Promoting teamwork between colleagues across all depots to ensure effective workshop performance.
6. Liaising with relevant team members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs, providing recommendations regarding write-off, damage, and recharge to customers.
7. Ensuring the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times.
8. Maintaining service records and updating systems and daily worksheets.
9. Adhering to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
10. Highlighting product damage and adhering to damage processes.
11. Maintaining maximum productivity in line with company targets.
12. Representing the company and portraying a professional and business-like image to all customers and potential customers.
13. Leading by example in 'Your Safety is our Priority.'
14. Carrying out other tasks and duties as required.
About you:
1. Relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience within the plant rental sector preferred.
2. Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
3. Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
4. Good interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of excellent customer service.
