About the role Students, more so than ever require support within learning to enable them to engage and develop more. Here at Connex, I am looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class. The desired SEN TA will genuinely have a passion for transforming lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Being confident within a classroom setting and being able to work both in small groups as well as 1:1 and building great relationships with both the staff and the students is essential for this role. Knowing that you can mould, nurture and change a students’ future as well as giving your 100% within education is a fundamental quality required. Role Requirements Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is essential. Previous experience working with SEN Students would be desirable. Key Responsibilities Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, T Level in Education and Early Years. Must be qualified Experience supporting children with additional needs or with an Educational Health Care plan within an education or care setting. Excellent behavioural management skills (any training certificates such as Team Teach would be advantageous) Proactive, confident, friendly, nurturing, and adaptable.
