Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Doctor Location: Warrington, Cheshire Working Hours: 40 hours Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client's inpatient team based in Warrington, Cheshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. What will your responsibilities be? The Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry within the Early Intervention Team and Older Adult Team will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing personalised treatment plans for adult patients. This role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated care, offering expertise in crisis intervention, and providing ongoing support to patients and their families. The doctor will participate in clinical meetings, contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development. The role demands an in-depth understanding of psychiatric disorders prevalent in both early adulthood and older age, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
