Rochdale Council are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to provide full end to end payroll processing. As a Payroll Officer you will provide an effective contribution to the team and have knowledge and experience of processing payrolls using an integrated HR and Payroll IT system. We are looking for someone who can undertake accurate processing of salaries and allowances for Council employees and client groups. Ensuring all payments are calculated and maintained in a manner that complies with legislation and within agreed timescale. We support a hybrid work environment which involves both office and remote work. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. A good team-player with excellent communication and customer focus skills. Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
