Operations/ Contracts Manager
- £60-70k – Northern Ireland We are looking for an Operations / Contracts Manager to become a key member; who is comfortable in full control of our operations & Contracts Management, to build and develop our senior management team at the pre-contract stage, through to completion of each project.
We seek an individual who can manage and deliver on the following remit:- A leader, operating as a key member developing and delivering our growth strategy Delivery of at least £5m of construction services projects profitably, and on-time Driven for Company Growth and mainly Profit Growth Being ‘hands on’ through site visits to ensure each project is going according to plan in terms of remit, budget and time Proactively manage client relationships, our key to success is via recommendation and repeat business.
Our Core Values become our blood Optimise systems and processes to streamline delivery, whilst not being afraid of change – if we can do it better, we will Person Specification: The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria: Essential Extensive experience of managing projects within a civils/water environment Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting Experience of MS project, develop and train team Knowledge of the all types of Contracts including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator – Civils
- £45-60k – Northern Ireland Proven previous experience in a similar Experience with Microsoft Project.
Willing to use Eque-2 Estimating Software or similar.
Liaise with customers and project managers.
Identify and procure tender packages suitable for the business and present to the Management Team Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants, and subcontractors Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.
Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary.
Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
Produce and maintain up to date procurement schedules.
Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders.
Compile subcontract orders for approval Visit site to measure and value works completed.
Site manager Civils
- £45-60k – Northern Ireland We’re looking for experienced and established Site Managers.
