RECfinancial is supporting a large Leicestershire based company in their search to appoint a Finance Manager. The role is based at an impressive head office function which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role oversees a team of 5 who are responsible for the production of period accounting, reporting and analysis of business performance, long range strategic business planning, trading reports & analysis and supporting the wider business with key decision making through robust and insightful analysis. The role will have a key focus on looking at the business sales and trading analysis and working with wider company to influence business improvements. You take the lead in the firms budgeting and forecasting activities, working alongside the Finance Director on the long term business planning. The business is keen to hire a candidate who has a background in management accounting, business / commercial analysis and someone who can present upto board level. The role will be working closely with FD to manage a smooth and efficient finance function and also to deputise for them in their absence. The business has gone from strength to strength over recent years and has made a significant investment in the last 18 months in its warehousing and product holding. To be considered for the role it’s likely that your background will include experience of working for an fmcg or supply chain background. You will need to be qualified in either CIMA or ACCA and be able to demonstrate in your CV that you have added value to businesses that you have worked for you. Experience of Power Bi would be beneficial but not essential. The role offers a salary of between £62,000 and £67,500 plus a generous benefits package
