As a main contractor, they deliver projects with a value from £8000 up to £8million for local customers in the West Sussex area. A typical project's value would be from £350k-£500 and include extensions and refurbishments of existing properties in the mostly high-end residential market, but also commercial and educational buildings. Your new role will be reporting to the directors, collaborating with a team of estimators, and taking ownership of construction projects in the West Sussex area. Once the start date is confirmed, you will need to work independently to manage the project delivery and project finances. You will engage with customers to ensure an elevated level of customer satisfaction, be responsible for safety, programming of works, communication with architects/consultants, ordering of materials, supervision of direct and subcontract labour, practical completion, and handover packs.
