About The Role
A meaningful opportunity for an Engagement co-ordinator who can work closely with our own teams and the local community and voluntary sectors to develop and deliver activities to clients who are living in the service.
The Engagement Co-ordinator will work with our teams and clients to:
Deliver a weekly programme of participation activities/ session. This will include ensuring that you are also collaborating and utilising the skills of the following: -
* Colleagues
* External Agencies
* Young people
* In house with Salvation Army homes and other Foyers.
Ensure that the sessions that are delivered are educational, practical and provide the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge while the young person is on their journey at the service. This may include but is not limited to: -
* Sports/ fitness
* Cooking
* Consultation
* Arts and crafts
* Money management
* Development of independent living skills
* Practical employability sessions e.g. CV writing, interview techniques.
* External trips and events
* Job fayres
* Opportunities to engage with education.
* Guest speakers
* Activity providers
* Specialist practitioners e.g. life coach/ yoga teacher/ personal trainer
* Photography
* Filmography
* Music
* Attending Residentials away from the service
