Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor Location: London area Hours: 45 hrs per week. Monday – Friday Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum Department Overview: With a fleet of over 3000 vehicles, the Operations team are responsible for maintaining the fleet condition, managing vendors and providing safe vehicles for its members. The Operations department provide a crossover between all other business departments including Risk and Insurance, B2B, Fleet and Marketing. Responsibilities: Review, challenge and approve estimates raised on Audatex Salvage category for vehicles following uneconomical repairs Working closely with our Fleet and Finance team for total losses Audit and challenge vendors on repair quality Identify good partnerships within the body repair industry Achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for individual performance Collaborate with team members and different departments to share knowledge, identify efficiencies and achieve set targets Contributing a positive impact on our NPS score Responding to queries and liaising with our Operations and Risk team Managing spend by budget control Introduce SLAs and terms with new and current vendors Source Green parts to help reduce waste and downtime Manage internal Green parts supply Requirements & Qualifications Essential: Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage time effectively: multi-task and prioritise work. Articulate concerns to vendors when underperforming. High level of personal drive, sound judgment and ability to work on your own initiative to follow through issues to the end. Strong attention to detail. Ability to think logically and draw conclusions from a variety of information sources. Understanding of Microsoft Excel at a basic level.
