Interim Director of Quality and Improvement
Location: North of England
Duration of contract: 4-6 months FTC
We are currently supporting one of our clients in their search for a clinically qualified and experienced Board member to undertake a 4-6 month contract as Interim Director of Quality and Improvement.
This role will involve leading the organisation's quality, safety, and patient experience agenda, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance (possibly in readiness for a CQC inspection). This role will focus on strengthening patient safety culture, regulatory compliance, working with system leaders and managing a team of direct reports.
Essential skills:
* A registered clinician (i.e., Nursing, Allied Health Professional, Paramedic, or Midwifery qualification)
* Significant experience in a similar role (Director of Quality, Director of Nursing, etc)
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, CQC requirements, safeguarding, IPC
* Previous experience of working within the NHS
* Strong leadership and people management skills, especially in challenging team environments
* Board-level experience desired although a strong Deputy with large NHS Trust experience would be considered
Start date: Ideally early March
