Our client is a growing and leading provider of Fire, Security and BEMS (Building Energy Management) Systems. They are looking to recruit a Junior Field Engineer and will provide full training to any successful candidate. Although experience within the fire and security industry isn’t essential, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working on site, using various hand/power tools. The client would also like candidates to have either an electrical qualification or some electrical skills (terminating cables, running cables, electrical fault finding etc). Junior Field Engineer Permanent Position £20,000-£25,000 depending on experience Other benefits include Overtime, Company Vehicle (once qualified), Tablet, Pension etc 8:00am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday Full Product Training Provided Junior Field Engineer Job Description Initially shadowing and working with experienced engineers, where you will be trained on the fire and security systems they install and maintain Covering maintenance, installation, small works, remedials, fault-finding and commissioning Work with existing teams in the area and look after several prestigious large-scale commercial sites, primarily within the Healthcare, Hospitality, Stadia and Education sectors All training will be provided Travel time and overtime will be paid for, and you will get access to your own vehicle once trained Junior Field Engineer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required Experience working on site or within an engineering field Hold an electrical qualification, or have electrical skills/experience such as terminating or running cables Well-versed using hand/power tools Hard-working and motivated Happy to work on different sites (predominantly in West/Northwest London) Must hold a driving license and have a vehicle (you will be given a company vehicle once fully trained) Junior Field Engineer Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required Experience servicing, installing, or commissioning fire and/or security systems
