£28,060 - £39,300 per annum
Location – Northampton
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an independent special school based in Northampton. This school caters for 11-19 year olds who focus on social and emotional development.
The Job
* Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning.
* Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points.
* Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention.
The Candidate
* Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but consideration will also be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications.
* A passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
* The ability to deliver lessons that are informative, interesting, and inspiring.
* A dedication to positive behaviour management.
* Committed to continual professional development.
