Production Co-ordinator
Summary
Reporting to Senior Management, this role is important to ensure effective co-ordination of manufacturing and repair activities to ensure company objectives and customer expectations are achieved.
Experience in production control within a mechanical engineering environment with good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attitude to quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Co-ordinate with General Manager to review and establish priorities and prepare schedules.
2. Liaise with Operations Manager to assist in production control to meet customer/company requirements.
3. Liaise with Repair Eng Manager to ensure timely availability of parts, consumables etc for assembly projects.
4. Liaise with administration/purchasing for issue of purchase orders etc for sub-contract.
5. Liaise with Engineering regarding assessment process, bills of material and technical sub-contract.
6. Monitor material/parts receipts from suppliers to ensure continuous operations.
7. Plan sub-contract services in a timely manner to maintain schedule.
8. Investigate options to improve production methods and efficiency.
9. Ensure quality standards are maintained.
Benefits

2. Monday to Thursday 07.45 – 16.15
3. Friday 07.45 – 12.45
4. Salary: £42,000 per annum
