Band 7 position Lynton integrated community nursing team is a small team in an isolated rural area covering a population of under 4000 patients.
This role will be leading and managing a team who work within a community nursing role and also provides clinic services 3 days a week.
This includes wound care for the local GP practice, Minor injury service, Catheter care, IV line care, well leg and leg ulcer care.
This band 7 role is patient-facing with hands-on clinical support and guidance.
The role involves leading and supporting the team to provide proactive, preventive and responsive nursing care to a wide range of patients.
Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Manager will ensure effective day-to-day operational management of an inpatient medical Ward with a maximum of 30 patients.
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care and procedures for which they are competent to practice without direct supervision.
To promote and deliver evidence-based care.
The post holder may be required to deputise for the clinical matron as and when required.
The post holder will work closely with other Clinical Nurse Managers, Nurses and the senior nursing team to ensure equality in the service across the Trust.
The post holder will provide a clear focus on service quality from the patients' point of view and developing changes and improvements as appropriate.
The post holder will be a key member of the Nursing Team with responsibility and accountability for managing the ward and providing professional leadership support to the staff.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
