APC Building Surveyor
An established firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors is seeking an APC Building Surveyor to strengthen their team. The role will involve a mix of professional and project-based building surveying work on all types of residential property, and some commercial.
Role & Responsibilities of the APC Building Surveyor:
1. Assisting the Building Surveyors with inspections and writing reports.
2. Assisting in preparing specifications for and administering repair and refurbishment contracts.
3. Assisting in preparing and assessing License to Alter applications.
4. Assisting in preparing planned preventative maintenance plans.
5. Assisting in undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments.
6. Assisting in undertaking defect inspections.
7. Assisting in compiling CDM information.
8. Assisting with coordination instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time, including fee quoting.
9. Undertaking Party Wall Surveying duties.
10. Undertaking Condition Schedules.
Skills & Experience of the APC Building Surveyor:
1. Degree in Building Surveying.
2. Driving licence.
3. Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
4. Must be enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated.
5. Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and be comfortable with report writing.
Salary & Benefits
1. Annual Salary - £30,000 to £45,000 Subject to Experience.
