Their Ofsted-registered children's homes are built around high standards of care and supported by dedicated professional teams. The Role Our client is seeking a Registered Home Manager to oversee one or two of their solo children's homes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, shape the future of young lives, and ensure compliance with Ofsted's quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the residential home(s), ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. Lead and inspire a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Staff in delivering exceptional care. Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs. Work closely with local authorities, education providers, therapists, and youth offending teams to ensure holistic support for young people. Ensure all staff are trained in PACE (therapeutic model) and Team Teach (de-escalation techniques). Support the registration process for Ofsted compliance. Oversee the administration of medication (if required) and ensure safeguarding policies are strictly followed. Provide a structured and stable environment that enables young people to thrive. Candidate Requirements Minimum two years' experience as a Deputy Manager in a children's residential care setting. Level 5 NVQ in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete it within two years). Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance in children's residential settings. Experience working with high-risk young people with complex needs. A proactive leader who can support and develop a strong team culture.
