Quality Development Consultant
As a Quality Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in influencing and monitoring the performance of NFU Mutual Agents across the South West region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the sales of NFUM products and services meet the required quality and regulatory standards. By promoting best practices, you will provide excellent service to our customers and minimize breaches and complaints. You will be an integral part of a dynamic regional sales team, while also working independently and one-on-one with our partners in the NFU Mutual Agency network.
Your activities will include:
* Supporting and overseeing new Agents to ensure they receive training, monitoring, and sales support.
* Monitoring, assessing, and coaching existing agents to achieve the required standards of competence.
* Analysing, proactively identifying, reporting, and escalating common or systemic quality risks and issues.
* Completing Agency Training & Competency audits to gain control assurance and ensure that remedial actions are identified and agreed upon to meet compliance requirements.
This varied and interesting role requires you to quickly build and develop strong working relationships with regional sales teams, Learning & Organisational Development, and Head Office colleagues. You will ensure effective collaboration across the regional team and that all General Insurance Training and competence requirements are met within your Agencies. Additionally, you will be involved in delivering one-off projects and activities as required.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of "Good Repute". About you
You'll have a solid background in Insurance or Financial Services. You'll possess the ability to complete audits within a regulated environment and have experience in compliance and sales.
Strong attention to detail is essential, along with excellent feedback and coaching skills. You should be adept at managing conflict and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations.
Ambition is key, and you should have strong organisational skills to manage your responsibilities effectively.
