Job Title: Marketing Executive
Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager
The Role: Are you a self-starting, creative individual with a passion for digital marketing and a drive for achieving results? We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Executive to support our subscription marketing efforts across a diverse portfolio of products, including sports and daily news. As part of our team, you will be key in subscriber engagement and retention, working within a dynamic newsroom environment and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels. You will be able to join us on a hybrid basis in our city centre Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support acquisition, retention, and engagement activities for subscription products.
2. Manage the delivery of email campaigns through our CRM, HubSpot (training provided).
3. Support seasonal marketing campaigns aimed at driving digital subscriptions.
4. Understand and utilise our content to drive digital growth.
5. Conduct regular audits of outbound marketing channels to ensure industry best practices.
6. Handle outbound customer communications via HubSpot CRM.
7. Collaborate with in-house teams on creative briefs and manage the delivery of marketing assets.
8. Execute day-to-day management of outbound emails, including some copywriting.
9. Identify and target key audiences through various marketing channels.
10. Stay informed on media industry trends, marketing techniques, and new advertising strategies.
11. Enjoy data-driven work, overseeing the creation, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
Qualifications for the Role
1. Degree in Marketing or relevant work experience.
2. Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus).
3. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
4. Strong communication skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
5. Data-driven mindset with an enthusiasm for media and content-based marketing.
