The Golf operations supervisor will assist with day to day running of the professional shop and golfing operation. Maintain the shops stock systems ensuring all administration relating to retail stock are completed in a timely and accurate manor.
* To abide by set opening and closing procedures to ensure the facility is in full 5-star standards for the start of a new day.
* To provide the highest quality of guest service standard with the aim of exceeding expectations at all times, both operationally and administratively
* Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, driving range and country club as a whole.
* Assist in the set-up and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
* Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the opening and closing procedures for all golf carts.
* Ensure the driving range is efficiently stocked for golf balls for members, guests, and lessons.
* Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
* Carries out the function of the practice facility attendant responsibilities, in accordance to the policies, procedures and standards of the department.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned individual tasks. Updates tasks area on a regular basis to ensure specific achievement.
* To act as a Salesperson, promoting the image of the Hotel and Golf Club at all times.
* To have a good knowledge of the history, services and facilities of the hotel.
* Always looking for any up-selling opportunities and help promote this culture within the team.
* Initiate and promote all club golf activities.
* Identify and develop value added products and services to enhance the guest experience at Luton Hoo
Experience as a Supervisor within a golf club environment
