E & M Talent Partners are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant for a busy manaufacturing business in the Tameside/Stockport area.
The role is full time, onsite and 35 hours per week ( Mon to Fri).
To be successful in the role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a Purchasing role and be comfortable speaking with suppliers.
Duties will include:
-Convert recquisitions into purchase orders and email to suppliers
-Obtain approval for purchase orders
-Source new suppliers and negotiate prices
-Monitor stock levels
-Liase with suppliers to ensure deliveries arrive as scheduled
-Ensure no 'out of stock'
-Day to day purchasing queries
-Range of wider admin duties
