We are currently recruiting for a National Account executive ( FTC - 6 months ) to join our team supporting the Grocery Channel as an channel executive.!
This is a great opportunity to play an important role at an exciting time in our journey. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering commercial performance, leading an account and supporting a Senior Account Managers with account support and administration of customers.
In this role, you will :
1. Provide support and administration for Ocado and Waitrose
2. Lead account forecasting in collaboration with Finance and Demand Planning. This includes Base, NPD, Promotional forecasting, and ensuring financial accuracy.
3. Assist Customer Business Manager in developing a successful Juice AOP.
4. Maintain strong trading relationships and wiring plans.
5. Evaluate and review promotional performance with category teams to make necessary adjustments.
6. Collaborate internally across category, finance, shopper marketing, merchandising, eCommerce, and supply chain to maximise performance through WCCE.
7. Provide EPOS reporting & keep all trackers up to date
8. Oversee field priorities and execution calendar when needed.
9. Administer and account for sales investments, especially promotions. This includes promotion reviews, invoice validation, and managing deductions and claims.
10. Support the period close process, handling accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
11. Own Trade Promotion and Settlements reporting for each account, including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.
12. Work closely with the sales team and other business stakeholders to implement new business processes, especially around SAP and TPM implementation
This list covers the main duties you will undertake but other duties will be required and added to as required to meet project and business needs. Flexibility to support the business is essential to the role.
The successful candidate will have :
13. Experience in both strategic and operational category management
14. Experience managing grocery channels in the FMCG sector
15. Skills in customer management and building strong relationships
16. Ability to provide thought leadership for creating winning strategies and executing them flawlessly
17. Proven ability to collaborate across different functions to achieve results
18. Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills
19. Experience in developing channel and category strategies
20. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to succeed
21. Ability to build internal credibility and navigate a fast-paced, matrix organisation.
This role is based in Farringdon and it will be required to come to the office 1 day per week.
