Senior Theatre Practitioner

Up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).
Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines.
Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.

Job responsibilities
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You're a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:

Qualifications
* You are registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration.
Experience
* Previous relevant and post-registration experience.
