We are currently seeking an Area Account Manager for the Midlands region of the UK. The successful candidate's role will be to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively develop the sales activities of a region to ensure set targets are achieved and the business grows.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
2. Identify and respond to client needs.
3. Keep a high level of knowledge about existing products and services, and learn about new products and services as they come in.
4. Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly.
5. Meet with customers to determine their specific needs.
6. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
7. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
8. Report to management on a weekly basis using a set report template.
9. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
10. Forecast and track account metrics (e.g. monthly and quarterly sales results, annual forecasts, display details).
11. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
12. Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your account.
13. Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products.
14. Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
15. Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
2. Working knowledge of CRM systems.
3. Experience using Salesforce software.
4. Experience in the angling industry and/or knowledge of carp fishing.
