Purpose of the role: The Account Manager is responsible for managing ongoing relationships with assigned customers, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and providing a smooth customer experience. This role focuses on delivery follow-up, reporting, and supporting the customer's operational needs, as well as working closely with the customer on delivering new revenue generating opportunities. Responsibilities: Point of contact for all contract-related matters. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Monitor contract performance against service level agreement deliverables. Address any issues or deviations for the contract terms. Point of contact for escalation. Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communications. Participate in weekly/monthly calls to provide updates and address concerns. Conduct frequent site visits to ensure alignment and address any on-site issues. Identify areas for improvement and work with internal teams to enhance customer service delivery. Coordinate internal teams to deliver on support and project commitments. Log and manage change requests and liaise with internal delivery teams. Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and technical teams Identify revenue generating opportunities with your assigned customers across the portfolio of Inteq’s services Support the Head of Accounts with strategic planning and renewals Requirements: Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles (3 years) Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Excellent at active listening to truly understand customer needs Experience in technology, automation, or warehouse operations (preferred) Ability to translate technical language into business language, enabling customers to understand the key benefits to their business operations Comfortable managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving An ability to influence internally within Inteq to ensure customer needs are delivered Background in logistics, retail, automation, or B2B tech services Strong analytical and presentation skills Familiarity with SLAs, service contracts, and support models Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Location : This is a customer facing role and as such you will spend as much time at customer’s sites as required and therefore the role requires flexibility to travel. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based within close commuting distance of Inteq’s Head Office in Milton Keynes, to support on-site collaboration with the internal teams.
