Are you a compassionate Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in stroke care? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the acute care team of our esteemed NHS client in Pershore, Worcestershire. This role is available immediately, offering full-time hours per week on an ongoing basis. The position is available ASAP until the 13 September 2024.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Registered with HCPC
2. Experience in stroke rehabilitation
3. Experience in community settings
4. Expertise in cognitive rehabilitation
5. Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
6. HCPC registration
Key responsibilities for this role include coordinating care for patients, actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive assessments of both physical and mental wellbeing needs, conducting assessments and interventions tailored to individual patient requirements, providing treatment for a range of moderate to complex mental health conditions, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist who can make a significant impact in acute care settings, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective service delivery to all patients
