We are currently looking for a passionate History Teacher to join the team in January. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to teach students up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level depending on your experience. Key Responsibilities: Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate. Create and adapt curriculum materials in line with the school’s objectives and national standards. Regularly assess student progress, providing tailored feedback to support academic development and achievement. Use assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and provide individual support to students. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the wider school through reflective practice. Participate in extracurricular activities and support school events as part of the broader school community. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching History in secondary schools. A strong understanding of the national curriculum for History. A Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field (desirable). Why Join Us?
